Source-checked research, not hands-on testing
Evidence before enthusiasm

Useful facts.
Visible unknowns.

A directory should help you make a decision, not give you another list of claims to untangle.

What “source checked” means

Our initial collection contains 25 original records based on official product, pricing and help pages reviewed on 1 October 2026. We checked what those sources say. We did not complete signups, upload sample files, test output quality, or verify access from different countries.

Every record links to its evidence and shows the source-check date. Vendor claims remain vendor claims. Unknown means we have not established the answer; it does not mean a feature is absent.

A task-first collection

We focus on product-image preparation, multilingual copy, captions and subtitle translation, and extracting information from documents. Some useful options are conventional software rather than AI. We include them when they offer a practical route through the task.

How matching works

The finder applies deterministic rules to documented tool attributes. A required constraint must have positive evidence; unknown attributes are excluded. Results explain the match and never receive an invented quality score. Free trials do not count as free options. A documented free path can still have export quotas, watermarks or restrictions on commercial use.

Search matches words in our catalogue. It is not a live web search or a model-generated answer. We do not infer country availability from interface language. An English requirement matches only explicit language evidence, rather than broad unsupported assumptions.

Original guides, honest limits

Our six guides are editorial instructions built around harmless examples, review checkpoints and fallback methods. They are not hands-on test reports. Before real work, confirm the specific task, output format, language pair, licence and privacy terms with the provider.

Commercial independence

This edition contains no paid placements, affiliate links, subscriptions or ratings. Future paid placements would be clearly separated and labeled; payment must never silently change organic matching.

Language readiness

English is our source language and the only published edition. Our content model supports reviewed translations linked to a source revision. Unreviewed or missing translations are not published. No location is inferred and no language redirect is forced.

Research limitations and updates

This collection is published as source research, not product testing or a recommendation to rely on a provider. Synthetic-sample workflows, current output limits, local availability and applicable rights still need verification before use. We display source dates so you can judge how current a claim is, and link to the provider for its latest terms.
