What you will need
- A permitted product image with legible identifying details
- A simple scene brief: surface, background, lighting and crop
- A way to review the final image against the real product and your destination’s rules
Step by step
Separate the product from the setting
List the details that must remain unchanged: size relationships, label wording, logo, color, shape and included accessories. Then describe the setting you want. Avoid prompts that ask the tool to improve, redesign or embellish the product itself.
Check generation access rather than the headline plan
Photoroom, Pixelcut and Pebblely list product-scene capabilities. Their free background-removal or preview offers do not establish free scene generation. Pebblely’s current research record has no confirmed free allowance. Read the selected feature’s current quota, price, export and commercial terms.
Use a small, specific brief
Start with a simple surface and one light direction. Request a believable contact shadow and leave enough space around the item for the intended crop. Avoid real people or third-party brands when a plain setting will do.
Compare product details before judging style
Inspect lettering, item count, proportions, packaging seams and reflections. Reject changes to what the customer receives, even when the composition looks polished. Keep only candidates whose product details you can independently confirm.
Test the final placement
Crop a copy for the intended listing or post. Check that labels stay readable, the scene does not imply an included accessory, and any relevant marketplace policy permits the image. Retain the original and a note that the setting was generated.
A small, safe example
Scene brief: Place this unchanged plain bottle on a matte beige shelf, with soft daylight from the left and a natural contact shadow. Keep its label, cap, color and proportions exactly as supplied. Add no text, props or extra bottles. Leave clear space above it for a crop.
Limitations to keep in view
- No documented free product-scene route is established by this catalog; a “Free tier” badge refers to the product’s broader offer
- Generated shadows, reflections and fine lettering can be wrong; this is a proposed review workflow, not a tested quality claim
- Ownership wording in a vendor FAQ does not replace review of input rights, commercial terms or marketplace rules
If the tool doesn't work for you
Use the original photo on a plain background, or photograph the product on a real surface with simple lighting. A truthful photograph is preferable to an uncheckable generated scene.
